Yard FLT Driver

Yard FLT Counterbalance Driver Ossett, Wakefield WF5 £13.69 per hour Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (core hours) Working as part of the Yard Team, you'll play a key role in keeping site operations running smoothly. This position involves operating a Counterbalance FLT, moving stock and materials around the yard, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting general yard activities. As the role is predominantly yard-based, candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (core hours) Flexibility required to provide holiday cover across other shift patterns, including nights and rotating shifts Candidates must be willing to support both day and night shifts when required Key Responsibilities: Safe operation of a Counterbalance FLT Loading and unloading deliveries Moving stock, pallets and materials around the yard Supporting general yard and site duties Carrying out manual handling tasks where required Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times Working effectively as part of the Yard Team Requirements: Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential) Previous Counterbalance FLT experience preferred Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year Ability to lift up to 25kg Strong awareness of health and safety procedures Reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to provide cover across alternative shift patterns when required Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role with a successful and growing manufacturer, offering a varied position within a busy yard operation.
