Location: Manchester (M14 area – Fallowfield / Rusholme / Moss Side) ⏱️ Role Type: Full-time, Long-term (Term-time only) Start Date: ASAP / Next half-term Salary: £85 – £95 per day (dependent on experience) Are you an empathetic, patient, and dedicated educator looking to make a massive difference to a single child's school experience? A vibrant, multicultural primary school in the M14 area is looking for a caring 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional learning and behavioural needs. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will see the direct impact of your support every single day. What the Role Involves: Individual Support: Working 1:1 with a designated pupil, helping them stay engaged during lessons and navigate their school day. Tailored Learning: Adapting classroom activities to suit the child's learning style, ensuring lessons are accessible and fun. Social & Emotional Growth: Supporting the pupil’s social skills, helping them build positive friendships and manage classroom transitions. Teamwork: Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and the pupil’s parents to ensure consistent support. Essential Requirements: Proven Experience with SEMH / SEN: You must have hands-on, practical experience supporting children with additional needs (such as Autism, ADHD, or SEMH). Enhanced DBS Check: You must hold a valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be fully prepared to apply for one immediately). Warm and Encouraging Personality: You are naturally positive, patient, and able to build strong, trusting bonds with children. Reliability: The pupil relies heavily on structure and consistency, so we need someone who is dependable and committed. Why Join This School?
