Section Engineer (geotechnical)

Section Engineer (Geotechnical) (Plymouth) – Fulltime An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years. PAYE basis Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays) Must Have: * HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction * CSCS White PQP/AQP * SMSTS * Experience in drilling, grouting, anchor installation, inspection and testing * Experience managing engineering teams * Good CAD, BIM and IT skills * Familiar with Quality Management Systems and RAMS * Commercial awareness * TWC desirable * Nuclear experience advantageous * Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance * Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years This role is site based - Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: * Manage setting out activities * Maintain dimensional control * Produce as-built records * Manage quality systems * Support technical delivery * Manage engineering teams * Maintain drawing registers * Ensure Health & Safety compliance * Deliver geotechnical works safely and efficiently Some Benefits: Pension Training and upskilling provided Safe working environment Life Insurance Secure regular income Lodge/Digs can be available.
