Residential Property Solicitor Take Ownership of a Busy, Varied Caseload\n

Location: CoventryFull-Time, Permanent Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join a thriving conveyancing team. Youll manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, delivering high-quality legal work within a supportive, collaborative environment. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, client contact, and handling a broad mix of residential transactions.

What Youll Be Responsible For\n

  • \n

    Meeting clients in person, over the phone and via correspondence to take instructions and provide advice

  • \n
  • \n

    Managing a full caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages and new-build transactions

  • \n
  • \n

    Progressing files from initial instruction to completion while maintaining excellent service standards

  • \n
  • \n

    Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts and transfer deeds

  • \n
  • \n

    Offering clear, timely and practical advice to clients

  • \n
  • \n

    Organising, developing and managing your own workload

  • \n
  • \n

    Maintaining client files professionally and in line with required standards

  • \n
  • \n

    Keeping an effective diary system to ensure smooth progression of matters

  • \n
  • \n

    Handling enquiries and preparing quotes

  • \n
  • \n

    Building relationships, creating networking opportunities and supporting new business generation

  • \n
  • \n

    Staying up to date with changes in property law and completing learning activities required for ongoing competence

  • \n

    Experience in residential property work

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing practice

  • \n
  • \n

    Familiarity with CQS requirements

  • \n
  • \n

    Excellent communication skills and a confident client manner

  • \n

    Professional, articulate telephone and face-to-face communication

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to work effectively under pressure

  • \n
  • \n

    Skill in identifying key information within transaction documents and advising accordingly
