Project Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an organised and commercially minded Project Engineering Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple engineering projects from design approval through to installation and commissioning.\n\nAs Project Engineering Manager you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations. Working closely with customers, design teams, fabrication partners, and installation teams, you will coordinate project activities and drive projects through each stage of the process.\n\nThe successful candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nThe Engineering Project Manager will manage engineering projects from initial order through to final installation and commissioning.\nEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with agreed specifications.\nAct as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.\nCoordinate activities between internal design teams, fabrication partners, suppliers, and site teams.\nIssue drawings and project documentation to customers for review and approval.\nMonitor project costs, schedules, risks, and progress, taking corrective action where required.\nProvide regular project updates to customers and internal stakeholders.\nSupport the continuous improvement of project delivery processes and procedures.\nAssist with maintaining and developing quality standards, accreditations, and best practice systems where appropriate.\nEnsure successful handover of projects through testing, installation, and commissioning stages.Candidate Requirements\n\nEssential\n\nProven experience in a Project Manager, Engineering Manager or similar project delivery role.\nStrong experience managing project budgets, timelines, and customer expectations.\nAbility to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.\nStrong organisational and planning skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.Desirable\n\nExperience within engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical environments\nKnowledge of design approval processes and technical documentation.\nExperience supporting quality systems, accreditations, or ISO standards.\nConfident managing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. \n\nThank you for your application.
