We’re partnering with a high-growth consumer brand to hire their first AI Automation Lead — a pivotal role focused on scaling the business to £50M+ ARR without proportional headcount growth.

The Role

\n
You’ll work directly with senior leadership to identify, build, and deploy automation across the business — from supply chain to retail operations.
\n
\n
This is a hands-on builder role with strategic influence.
\n
\n
What you'll be doing
\n
\n - Design and implement end-to-end automation workflows across ops, supply chain, and B2B retail
\n - Build agent-based systems to replace manual processes
\n - Standardise and own the company-wide AI tooling stack
\n - Run workshops to identify high-impact use cases across teams.
\n - Drive adoption and training for non-technical users
\n - Continuously improve and maintain workflows (not just ship and leave)

What We’re Looking For

\n - Proven experience building real automation that replaces human work.
\n - Strong hands-on capability with tools like Zapier, Make, APIs, GPT-based systems.
\n - Operator mindset — you understand how businesses actually run.
\n - Comfortable working across functions and navigating ambiguity.
\n - High velocity: you ship quickly and iterate.

Nice to Have

\n - Background in product engineering and a Computer Science background.
\n - Experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups
\n - Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or back-office systems.
\n - Experience building interoperable tool ecosystems.
