The Role\n

Forget the standard, repetitive desk job. In this position, you will be the driving force behind turning technical enquiries into competitive, accurate tenders. Working on a full-time basis, you will:

    Analyse technical drawings, developer requirements, asset plans of existing utilities, and point of connection offers.

  • \n
  • \n

    Complete network studies across water, gas, and electricity networks.

  • \n
  • \n

    Draft multi-utility cost models, utility route plans, and professional proposal letters.

  • \n
  • \n

    Review incoming enquiries, request missing project details, and manage variation requests and re-quotes.

  • \n
  • \n

    Use AutoCAD to support the design process and maintain accurate data on the internal system.

  • \n
  • \n

    Collaborate with internal teams, business development managers, and external stakeholders to find practical solutions.

  • \n
What Youll Bring\n

    A working knowledge of AutoCAD, which is essential for this position.

  • \n

    Familiarity with the utilities sector and a foundational understanding of the tendering process.

  • \n

    Superb organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

  • \n

    Outstanding communication skills to build positive relationships with clients and internal departments.

  • \n
  • \n

    Great attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

  • \n

    A SHEA Water, Electric, Gas, or Utilities certification (any formal water or electrical qualifications are highly desirable).
