Customs Shift Clerk

Job Description

PSM Recruitment are seeking an experience Shift Customs Clerk to work for a successful Customs Clearance firm in Dover. Key Responsibilities: * Completing the day to day customs clearance work * Assisting the customs clerks with completion of customs paperwork as required * Assisting with other operational duties within the office at Managers discretion Key Skills & Qualifications: * Willingness to learn customs procedures & principles * Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets * IT Literate * Must be able to meet deadlines * Be conscientious and have attention to details * Be able to be part of a team * Must be able to identify and report problems * Communicate politely and efficiently with clients and internal staff * At least 1 years experience in Customs Clearance Key Performance standards: * Deadlines are met in a timely manner * Processing is timely and accurate * Obtain positive client feedback Working Conditions: Full Time – Shift work to support 24/7 operation (4 on 4 off – 2 days 2 nights rotation).
