Children's Social Worker - Integrated front door

Our client Bolton Council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Integrated front door team. Main Duties The provision of a purposeful, professional social work duty service to children and families and partner agencies within the Integrated Front Door in accordance with statutory requirements and Departmental Policies. To contribute to the planning and development of the Team's and the Department's Referral and Assessment Services as required and as appropriate To participate in the organisation and administration of the work of the post so that the job of providing the service gets done. To provide management information to assist in the setting, implementing, and monitoring of the Department's strategies and services To contribute to the allocation of the work of the Team To participate in providing a duty service to all office visitors To gather information to decide if Section 47 (Child Protection) enquiries are required or if a children and family needs assessment is needed To work directly with partner agencies and families offering advice and guidance using a range of social work knowledge and skills To contribute to 'front door' duty provision which involves the provision of generic advice and information to all office callers To arrange services and screen referrals which require further assessmentBenefits of working with Remedy A personal one-one service from your highly experienced dedicated consultant.
