We’re looking for a volunteer to take on the role of Finance Director at Tennis Leicestershire. We’re on the lookout for a committed person to join our volunteer board and help us drive tennis forward.

\n

About us: We support and encourage a thriving and inclusive tennis and padel community in Leicestershire. We are committed to developing the facilities and people in the county by supporting clubs, players and coaches to increase participation across both tennis and padel.

What You’ll Do\n

\n
• Attend Board meetings 6 times a year
\n
• Establish and manage all financial processes.
\n
• Establish and maintain budgets and regularly review.
\n
• Maintain detailed records of all income and expenditure.
\n
• Ensure that invoices are paid in a timely manner.
\n
• Prepare regular financial statements and full accounting reports for the AGM and when required by the Board for external review, which may take the form of an audit, or assurance review, or a review by a competent independent person.
\n

What We’re Looking For\n

\n
• Recognised financial qualifications and skills.
\n
• Good understanding of the core role of the County and associated resourcing requirements.
\n
• Effective organisation, communication and presentation skills.
\n
• Knowledge of tennis and tennis club management, and of LTA direction and activities.
\n
• Ability to work in a team and motivate others.
\n
