Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Location: Oxford Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 DOE + Package Job Type: Permanent About the Role We are seeking an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team delivering office and laboratory fit-out projects across Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career while working on a varied portfolio of high-quality interior refurbishment projects. Key Responsibilities * Assist with cost planning and procurement. * Prepare subcontract packages and tender documentation. * Manage valuations and variations. * Support monthly cost reporting. * Assist with final accounts. * Work closely with Project Managers and Contracts Managers. * Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks. * Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Requirements * Experience within construction or fit-out. * Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying preferred. * Experience on CAT A/CAT B fit-out projects desirable. * Laboratory project experience beneficial. * Strong numerical and commercial awareness. * Good communication and organisational skills
